Awful "service"

I bought a truck from a dealer about 7 months prior to it breaking down. It was a 2007 f150 with less than 120,000 miles on it. I was told that the 5.4 triton v8 was a bulletproof engine, but just to be on the safe side i purchased a warranty from the dealer that was through alpha warranty services, Biggest mistake i have ever made. I purchased the 5 year 100,000 mile POWERTRAIN warranty for $1,200. The dealer told me that if anything catastrophic was to happen to my truck, then it would be covered in the warranty. I Didnt even put 10,000 miles on the thing and the engine seized up while going down the highway. Long story short, this scam of a company told me that it was not covered because a part was damaged within the engine that they do not cover. Even though the whole engine needs to be replaced. I bout a POWERTRAIN warranty, but apparently the engine doesnt count as the powertrain even though the engine is the main part of the powertrain. even my mechanic was upset with this company because he went through the list of things that was also wrong with it and every single part he mentioned they responded with "we dont cover that." My experience with this company was very unpleasant and i plan on pursuing this matter with legal action. Don't do any business with this company.

Purchased the "A+ Coverage for High End Vehicle" in the amount of $3300 for my Audi back in Feb 2014. I recently had some to get my Air suspension compressor replaced. Once the diagnostic test were done Alpha Warranty denied my claim. Shortly after I read a testimonial on their website where they supposedly the paid off a claim for another customer who had the same mechanical problem. They possibly post fake testimonials to lure you into buying one of their coverages. Stay away from this company. It's not worth the headache.

After my Jeep Patriot broke down and brought it to Litchfield Chrysler in Litchfield, MN, one of the service help inquired for me to Alpha warranty to see coverage. Alpha said they would not cover because of the TCU (which was told to me most warranties cover this anyway)... After the repairs were made, it was found that it was the Valve Body that failed (a part covered under this warranty), but after talking to the rep again, he told me it would still NOT be covered because of the initial inquiry.

I have no record of any conversation about a TCU, nor does my hard copy detailed receipt show ANYTHING about a TCU, therefore telling me that this warranty company is responsible for this repair at $0 deductible as stated in my contract meaning that Alpha warranty services owes me $2154.51.

I purchaced a 2004 chevy silverado from a local dealer , the vehicle had about 161,000 miles when i purchaced the truck, I thought the mileage was a little high but i was offered a 5 yr 100k milee extended warranty, for $739.00 extra. I thought to myself i can easily go and put this money towards a down payment on a new vehicle , but i figured that warranty would be beneficial in helping with any needed repairs. Total price for truck $ 9138.00. 7,500.00 truck + 899.00 tax/ license +739 for warranty .

Fast forward a year and a half later and 20,000miles , my transmission has gone bad (i figured no big deal i have ALPA WARRANTY), i had it towed in to a shop and gave them the warranty info . I recieved a phone call from the shop service writer to let me know that he contacted the warranty company and they wanted me to authorize a tear down of the transmission @ $600.00 i was concerned about the price but the service writer tells me that as long as i didnt neglect the truck they would cover evrything up to 2500.00. They take the transmission apart and metal pieces from the planet gears and the pump. the transmission needs to be replaced 2900.00 total

Less than a week later i receive a phone call from Alpha to ask about the truck , its primary use, and so forth, one of the questions though was did you yoursel modify the vehcle or was it purchaced this way. (the vihicle has a 2inch body lift ) i went on to tell her that the vehicle was purchaced this way.

Two days later i recieved a phone call from the service writer to tell me that they had declined the repair because the vehicle was modified, My heart stopped, i thought to myself dont these people see these cars before they sell this warranty. I was given a phone number to call and speak to michelle@ ext 202 she told me how she simpathised with me and so forth how deeply sorry she was and so on and tat would finish reviewing the claim and call me back , Well that as the last time i heard from her two weeks later after my service writer got back from vacation he calls me to ask what am going to do with the truck. since its been there for almost a month, meanwhile my wife and 4 year old son are out of a vehicle. What do you mean i ask. he replies didnt mchelle call you they are going to refund your money for the warranty instead of covering the transmission. WHAT! i asked i tried to get in touch with michelle multiple times with no luck , left multiple voicemails with no reply.

Finally I get a hold of someone there by the name of Kathy, she was very rude and was misinformed about my claim she in the end told me that there was nothing she could do but refund me $429.00 and hung up on me . at that point i wasnt very polite myself, but i am going to be out 2900.00 ( Which i dont have ) all because of this so called warranty company that is absolutley worthless.

On March 18th, 2015 I brought my car to the Nissan dealership for warranty repairs. They called Alpha Warranty Service to file a claim and was told that since it was over the threshold that an adjustor had to come out within 24-48 hours and that an approval would be made within another 24-48 hours. After the approval the warranty company called and said they found the part cheaper and wouldn't be delivered until 3/23/15, but it did not show up until the 24th. Within that time another approval needs to be made for a part. During the first 3 days, I rented a car. When I called about reimbursement I was told they only pay 1 day rental for 4 labor hours that the car was being worked on and I had only enough hours for one day of rental coverage. HOWEVER, they had my car repair held up because they had me wait for the cheaper part. I was not responsible for the delay. When I called and advised them I was told that I could've had the more expensive part and paid the difference. This was NEVER told to me. When I demanded a copy of the phone conversation I was told I needed to get a subpoena and a lawyer. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, manager or director, I was told there were none. I find this extremely hard to believe that no one of authority exists and that only a condescending woman named Alicia is the only person who could help me, of which she never accomplished. She only parroted the words written in the contract and didn't offer ANY help whatsoever.

I purchased a warranty though a auto dealer called Advantage Automotive Center when i bought my used truck and i in good faith thought it was the right warranty so my transmission went out in my truck last wesnday 5/8/2013 i took my truck to drew ford to have the repairs done the warranty company sent an investigator out to investigate the damages they told me they werent going to warranty it because it was lifted and had oversize tires on it. I bought the truck lifted and i also put a size smaller tires on it. Now i have to pay the ford company $602.00 for the work they already did.
