I was quoted $850 to transport my car from Tinton Falls, NJ to Bryan, TX door to door delivery. Brett called the night before I was flying to Texas to tell me the price was now $1175 due to a transport issue and that my car would be delivered to Fast Co in Houston by Ground Force One Car Transport. I called when the delivery was not made on Friday or Saturday or Sunday which was the window I was given. On Monday I got a call from Mitch at Ground Force One saying he was in Houston and Brett had not contacted Fast Co and that they couldn't drop off my car in and were taking it back to Pennsylvania. He was very rude and I was crying and I pleaded with them to not take my car all the way back. Brett was not calling me back or answering any of my emails at this point and I was frantic. Mitch gave me the transport drivers phone number and I took off from my first day at my new job with my sister to drive me, we spent hours in Houston, TX trying to track down the transport driver as he dropped off other vehicles. Brett from Allied Auto Shippers finally called back and acknowledged that it was a huge mess and that he was sorry and would refund his portion of the money that I paid him (which he didn't do). I also had to 'tip" the transport driver in Houston $100 dollars to get my car off the truck. All the time Brett, reassured me and promised that this would be a smooth move with no surprises. He lied and didn't care. He hasn't contacted me to apologise or follow through with his promise to refund the $100.00 as promosed. He could have cost me my new job.
