All That & Jazz Poodle Parti Reviews

  • Aug 25, 2014

In March of 2014 I purchased 2 puppies from Allthatandjazzpoodleparti.com for around $4,000. From the start Murrey the business owner practiced bad business ethics, after paying her the money, a couple days later she said she couldn't get hold of me for a couple of days and therefore sold the puppies I paid for and picked out, which not only wasn't true, but even if it was, who sales puppies that someone already paid for? Instead of being upset like most customers would have, she said she could send me a 7month old puppy now, and send me the other puppy when one of her mothers gave birth to more puppies, so even though I was extrememly dissapointed, I felt I had no other choice so I aggreed. She sent me a black male teacup that was shipped to me by plane, the dog seemed weak and sick, which turned out was true as he died 3 weeks later, I called her and she said I need a autopsy on the puppy for a credit on that dog, having already had spent $4,000 with her and had problems, I did not want to spend more money as I could tell by talking to her no matter what the autoposy said she was going to disagree the results. So I felt it was in my best interest to cut my loss on the one dog, and just wait for the other, as she still owed me another puppy, so for the last 5 months I have called her for updates on when I would be getting the other dog and everytime she told me, that none of her dogs have had puppies yet even though her website has puppies listed, she claimed these pics on her website were of puppies already purchased months prior, finally come August of 2014 she says one of her dogs had puppies and I would get mine soon, when the time was approaching I called to get the flight info and tracking info of the puppy and she answers "sorry I don't remember you" and hangs up on me, and never answers my calls again. I am in the United States, and she is in Canada so there isn't much I can do but warn fellow Americans not to buy a puppy from her as she will either Scam you, or your puppy will be sick. Long Story short, I paid her $4,000 for 2 puppies, and only got 1 puppy and that puppy died, and the other puppy she owed me I never received. She steals your money.

Allthatandjazzpoodleparti.com is the website for a reputable breeder. I have known the breeder for nine years and have spent many hours in her home (at least 2-3 times a week for those years). The poorly written complaint that was made about this breeder is without foundation.

First of all, a client who puts a deposit (NOT the full purchase price) on one or more dogs will get first choice of a puppy or puppies that meet the client’s specifications re. colour, size, gender. This might mean that the client could wait a long time for the puppy (some have waited years), depending on how specific the client’s choices are AND who else has made a deposit and is waiting for a puppy. A client is NEVER expected to pay the full price of a puppy up front.

When two or more clients have paid a deposit and a puppy becomes available that meets the expectations of the clients, the breeder will attempt to contact the clients in the order that the deposit was received. The breeder will try at least three times AND LEAVE MESSAGES TO CONTACT the client before moving on to the next client. This is not bad business ethics; this is business, period.

I have known this breeder to personally bend over backwards to please her clients and such was the case here. The compromise was one puppy now and the other when one became available. I have assisted in the shipment of many many puppies and in EVERY circumstance the puppy has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian before the puppy is shipped. Under NO circumstance would the breeder ship an unwell puppy. First of all, the pup wouldn’t make it across the border into another country and secondly, it would be unconscionable for her to send a puppy that she felt was unwell. She is ever conscious of her reputation and vigourously and diligently works to defend it. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles and is mindful of protocol, and her reputation.

This breeder also does not ship teacups at eight weeks of age as many other breeders do; she waits until they are at least 12-16 weeks old before she will consider shipping a puppy so that the pup has a better chance of surviving the stress of travel and change. In some cases, the puppy has remained with the breeder for several months at the client’s behest AT NO EXTRA CHARGE to the client. The breeder believes that the well being and safety of her dogs is paramount. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles.

When a client purchases a teacup, the breeder makes certain that the client knows how DELICATE it is. She makes EVERY effort to make certain that the client will diligently follow her advice and protect the animal from harm. In several cases, I have witnessed the breeder speaking to clients about the SPECIAL care of teacup poodles and she has sometimes convinced a client to purchase a toy instead as the toy poodle, while small, is far sturdier. I quite frankly believe that this client was careless and killed her puppy inadvertently. I have witnessed one of the breeder’s own dogs seriously hurt himself (i.e. near death) by taking a tumble off a small pillow on the floor. To own a teacup you MUST be vigilant and I don’t think this client was a vigilant as he/she should have been. As the breeder constantly says, “You have only one chance.”

The breeder was correct in asking for an autopsy because she, herself, has been scammed by nefarious clients in the past. If the puppy was GENUINELY ill, then the client would have followed up with an autopsy. The breeder-client relationship is a two-way street; it is a relationship of trust on both sides. This client’s actions were, to say the least, suspicious. In the past, this breeder has been duped by untrustworthy clients and has replaced pups but she has discontinued this practice without proof of genetic difficulties. Her policies are specifically stipulated on her website. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles, her reputation and clients’ needs.

If the client had to wait for the second puppy, then the client had to wait.

The breeder is available to answer any of your questions, regardless of when you purchased your pet. In my own experience, my two-year-old tiny teacup has developed allergies. The breeder worked with me to develop a step-by-step regimen to ease his suffering in the event of an attack. From my vet I have an “epi-pen” of sorts for serious attacks. These attacks on occasion have almost cost my little guy’s life. I have called the breeder at any time of the night (1 a.m., 2 a.m.) and she calmly walks me through the regimen and she will WAIT by the phone for a few minutes while I try to save my dog. If the attack is really bad, she will ask me to bring him to her for oxygen and further care. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles, years after they have left her care!

The business itself is operated out of the breeder’s own home. Her dogs are her family and she treats them as such. Her operation has been inspected by the provincial vet (at the breeder’s request) and the vet’s comments were positive. The vet also added that if she were a dog, she’d live there. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles. her reputation and her clients’ needs.

The breeder potty trains all puppies before they are shipped. As much as possible, they are socialized with adults and small children. This is not the case with other breeders. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles and her clients’ needs.

Whenever possible, the breeder will weed out unpalatable traits (e.g. excessive barking) by rehoming without charge breeding stock that do not fit her breeding lines. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles and her clients’ needs.

I have witnessed countless times the herculean efforts this breeder has made to save the life of a pup or an older dog in distress. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles.

The breeder is meticulous about the organization and cleanliness of her operation. As well, she is very careful to present her puppies in the best light possible. She will not just “take a shot of the puppy in the yard” for a client. She will set up photo sessions for puppies for her website, but she will also send clients updated photos of their chosen pets, provided she has time to do so. Other breeders provide one set of photos and that’s it. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles and her clients’ needs.

I now own several of this breeder’s dogs and over the past 6 years, I have shamelessly leaned on her for her support and advice in the care of my dogs. She has never refused. She has done this for many of her clients as well. These are not the actions of a person who practices bad business ethics; this is someone who GENUINELY CARES for her poodles, and her clients’ needs.

The complaint was poorly written by someone who can’t decide whether he/she is from Nevada or Arizona. First of all, complaints that are written well are taken seriously; secondly, someone who doesn’t know where he/she lives has removed all semblance of credibility. In other words, client from Arizona or Nevada, you’re full of it.

A More-Than-Satisfied Customer of Allthatandjazzpoodleparti.com

P.S. If you think that teacups poodles are not delicate, then you’re not only ignorant but stupid. You killed your dog, period. Quit scamming and defaming respectable businesspeople.

P.P.S. Because this breeder knows the heartache of losing one of her babies so very well, all this client had to do was tell her and the breeder would have worked with her to ease the pain of loss.
