DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO THIS PLACE !
I need to talk to owner as soon as possible, it's very frustrating that even after a year we solved the problem still you guys are after me ? Ok here we are go again starting all over again. in 2012 one guy offered a room to share his apartment at Colony at Kenilworth drive and i went there to see it and he said i had to apply for the lease agreement which i did and but had to wait before i even move right ? How do i even move to someone else's apartment before you guys let me in ? So i applied for the lease but the guy who offered a room left the country next day which i didn't know. At the same time their management told me that they needed his signature in order for me to move in on lease agreement which we didn't have because the guy is GONE. So the lady at management told me i can't move in if i don't bring the guy for signature and since i don't have that i just had to leave. SO BASICALLY I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THAT APARTMENT.! SO WHAT REALLY P***** ME OFF IS THAT they couldn't find that guy and they came after me which is insane!!!!!!!! Why would you do that ?
They asked me money for the rent which i never lived. So last year i hired my lawyer and informed them as well about it which i'm really going to sue this scum company who are all there to ruin your entire life . Management told me they were going to do investigation on it which i was confident about it because there's no documents about me lived there at all. After that they told me they were gonna inform debt collectors and credit bureaus that I DO NOT OWE THEM ANYTHING. Now here i'm living in different state and trying to buy something after 3 years, this scumbags are still reporting something, i should never even be involved with in the first place. PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HISTORY RUINED FOR NO REASON. You don't have to live there just visiting them once may cost you thousands of DOLLARS.
NOW I AM HIRING ARTICLE WRITERS AND ONLINE MARKETING GUYS TO MAKE ARTICLE AND PUT IT EVERYWHERE, I WILL DO ANYTHING I CAN TO RUIN THIS BEFORE YOU GUYS RUIN SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE LIKE MINE. I WILL NOT STOP ANYMORE I AM REALLY TIRED OF THIS.
I lived at AIMCO address for nearly 10 years and was never late on rent in all that time. Matter of fact, somtimes I paid 2 months of rent at once to get ahead. Last year, I lost my job and had to abandon my apartment, but I let them know before leaving. AIMCO personnel indicated I would be charged for 2 1/2 months of rent being my lease was up then. I was ok with that. Their final bill sent to me via email was for nearly 4 months of rent. I was, also, NOT credited for things I was to be credited for.
I tried contacting AIMCO via phone and email to apprise that I was willing to pay the bill, but still unempoyed. THey referred me to their collection agency who are horrible and mean people (no surprise). I tried negotiating with them to get on a payment plan which I could try and afford and I also said that I would be looking at paying the bill once I got employed and that my record speaks for itse.f Collector agreed my credit with them ""is excellent"" but was unwilling to work with me.
I called AIMCO corporate and only got automated voicemails. I called AIMCO local and also was told I could not talk to them but had to talk to their collection agency.
I am a senior citizen and being treated horribly by a company that has documented what a great tenant I was, yet they are so unwilling to work with me and handle me now by threats to destroy my credit.
