Saved from a scam

Thank you for the reviews. Just spoke with a Mark, told me they didn't need the part number, it would take two days to repair and a lifetime warranty. I had to prepay. However, after reading the posted reviews, I think it would be a grave mistake to deal with this company. Thanks for saving me time, money and headaches!

2005 Ford Mustang GEM module

We can't say enough good about AES Modules. Our local Ford dealer tried for over 4 months to get a 2005 Ford Mustang GEM module from an authorized Ford company. The response always came back that Ford could not supply this reasonably "normal" part as their supplier could not get parts. Our Ford dealer spent a lot of time trying to find this part all over the U.S. and in the secondary market. AES Modules came up as a supplier but we needed to make the call and order ourselves. The Ford dealer would then install the part for us. We called AES, spoke to Andy Bell, got the part within a week and Ford installed. The process worked so smoothly and we cannot give AES higher marks. This company really was a wonderful company to deal with.

This guy is a "Stone Cold" Rip off artist!! Stay Far Away from him!! He wanted $350 to program a BCM, that can only be done on the vehicle by the dealer. The dealer did not even release the software for this yet. RIP OFF. RIP OFF RIP OFF> I didn't fall for his crap.

Purchased a rebuilt module for a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 for $423.50. on August 30, 2013. I explained my situation and how bad I needed it. I explained I was renting a car for $235. a week. I was promised 5-7 days total to me. I called on September 6th to check on the progress since I had no contact at all post-purchase. The rep I dealt with Andy finally got on the phone after three calls and told me I never sent in the part number off my truck. I have their invoice that was mailed to me with ALL the information they asked me for on it. NO ONE called or emailed me asking me for any part number. I was pissed but okay. I got this part number off my truck and called them back with it. This Andy said okay 5-7 days from now. I called on September 13th to check on the progress. They now tell me the part didn't come in and it was due in soon, again no calls or emails from them whatsoever. I proceeded to cancel the order immediately and demand a refund. After waiting a week I finally got a refund in the amount of $322.24. I called them. This brainless rep Andy tells me they're charging me for work they did on the part they never got. I asked to speak to a manager and he tells me he is the manager. I told him I owned an ecommerce company as well as an Internet marketing firm. I asked him if he really wanted me to have to go through disputing my credit card and posting all these negative reviews on the Internet over $100. He said that there was nothing he could do for me. Put simply, this is a total crap company. They have no chain of command, no customer contact no sense of customer service whatsoever. No matter what your local dealer tells you, you are WAY better dealing with them then dealing with these clowns. I would highly suggest staying clear of these people.

In addition to the HUGE waste of time they cost me over $500. in rental car fees that could have easily been avoided. Luckily they're in Florida where I am based and have a very sharp, large law firm I deal with. Beware Andy and company, I gave you the option to avoid all this. As an added note, understanding the Internet and these reviews, I am quite certain the few positive ones are not real.

Stay away from these mother-less pieces of s***! I sent them my PCM for a simple diagnosis. They charged my credit card before I even mailed them the part. Justin (a scumbag that works there), promised a 2-3 day turn-around time. They had my module for 6 days and did absolutely nothing. Sent it back to me with the bracket installed upside-down. Fixed nothing, diagnosed nothing. I hope everyone involved with AES modules, from the phone girl to the reps, get cancer and die a slow and very painful death. Wish I had done my homework before wasting 2 weeks of my time (without a vehicle) with these human trash. Do the world a favor and KILL YOURSELVES.

I sent a Power Control Module unit (PCM) for a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country Mini Van, to be repaired on June 6th, 2014. After weeks of waiting and the unit sent back and forth, we finally got it back with the same damage caused by them. AES tried to say the US Postal Service damaged the unit, But if that were the case the chipped off parts would be in the box it was shipped in. It was not. Then AES said they tested it and it worked fine. But again the chipped off parts that were missing will get moisture inside the module causing more problems. Logically AES needs to replace the damaged unit. The Chrysler dealership would not install the damaged PCM. AES would not refund my money. I'm stuck with a damaged module. Now what?

The experience with these people were the worst ever. Instead of correcting their mistake they tried to convience me that it was fine and the module had a life time warranty. Again, if that was the case, Why didn't they Fix it right the first time or replace the unit to begin with. AES also tried to convience us into buying one of their units, of course at an extra price. RIP OFF! Stay away from AES! Do not believe what you see on their web site, or hear on the phone. Our case is pending, and we might have to reported AES to the Florida consumer services agency.

Thanks AES you have ruined our kids summer vacation have no vehicle until we get it done right, too bad.

Sent my ECM to AES to be repaired. I paid $326 dollars. They shipped it back to me with the same problem. My mechanic charged me $160 to rediagnose. I shipped it back to AES. They told me it was going to cost another $190 to fix it.

What happened to my lifetime warranty? Apparently the lifetime warranty is worthless.

So, I bought a used ECM at a junk yard for $60. My car problem was fixed!

Called AES to get my money back. They told me they were going to refund my money. However, they did not. After about a month with no action, I called again. This time they refunded me $224.

I decided not to fight anymore.

Do yourself a favor and call someone else.
