The quality of abc mouse is very poor and my grandson wasnt interested in the computer learning that abc mouse has to offer because it has a delay with graphics and lot of coloring. whatch out for the membership fees ABC Mouse will automatically renew even if you cancel membership within the same month and Abc mouse would not credit my credit card. What a rip OFF. For two years or more Abc mouse has been charging my credit card. hmm BEWARE read read the contract. Im not happy with the educational experience and Abc mouse Policy is really shotty and a scamful to think that there program was really going to excellerate a childs learning BS. we used the membership for about 4 months what a waist of MY time. A consumer Protection Attorney needs to look into there contract. I am going to send a copy of Abc mouse contract to Parker Stanbery located in LA. CA
My daughter wanted to try ABC Mouse for the summer learning. Well they say you can try it for free for 30days ,and cancel at any time, well I was billed before that and the 1st day after my account was charged my daughter couldn't even log on to do anything. I tried to contact them of course it's a recording, then they said I was number 11 and I waited on the cordless phone until it went dead. So now I've been charged before 30days and my $7.95 is gone ,my daughter is upset ,and i'm stock watching my account and hoping they don't charge it again, and also now I don't have a activate acount and wants me to enter my credit card again No Way but they still sending emails and an email and password is what you have to enter in order to get the free trial. Total RIP OFF RIPOFF. CHANTAY georgetown, south carolina
Well, I tryed to sign my grandchild up for ABCmouse for the 30 day free trail and they took my information and credit card info andthe stuff never downloaded. Trying to reach anyone was impossible. I am now waiting for the first billing cycle so I can have my bank cancel the payment and report them!
ABC mouse has no customer service whatsoever. Had I known there were no live representatives I could speak to, I would have never signed up. I paid them my money and I have no access to the site. There is no one to talk to regarding this. I emailed them through their customer service located at the bottom of their page, and no one has responded to my concerns. They take your money and could care less about their customers. If a class action lawsuit is filed I definitely would like to be a part.
In April 2013 I signed up to use ABCMouse. ABCMouse offered a 30 day free trial during sign-up. When I enrolled into ABCMouse I was given an opportunity to pay for 1 year membership at the time. I agreed and paid the 1 year membership when signing up for the 30 day free trial.
The website is legitimate and it does function as described. My children instantly celebrated and were very excited that they were able to use ABCMouse. After several days I realized the excitement had faded. The site is very busy and I realized though my children liked the website, I determined that it was going to also require parental engagement. The engagement I realized was far more than expected.
The service is fantastic for self-learning with parental assistance. For teachers, homeschool parents, or parents that have a substantial amount of time to engage solely with ABCMouse I believe subscribing could be an effective method to educate.
Within 10 days I decided to discontinue my service. I had difficulty locating the cancellation request. Once I cancelled I received an email notifying me that my service was cancelled. However the email I received did not mention ABCMouse refunding me my payment. It also stated that my service was active and would be good for the 1year subscription.
It is extremely difficult to reach a live-person with ABCMouse. They do not openly provide a customer service number. Everythign is conducted via email. I did locate a phone number by performing web searches. ABCMouse has never replied to my email sent via their website. I have sent several emails with no response. Everytime I call the number I receive a voice message letting me know they are unavailable. I have left voice messages and received no response.
I contacted my credit card company and requested a refund by filing a dispute. ABCMouse's website looks great but don't fall victim to poor customer service with no responses. When web searching I ready many similiar situations that precisely match my claim with this company.
