On 9-7-13 I contracted with A/C Solar to install Isofoton solar panels on my home. The Isofoton solar panels are made in the U.S. and have a 30 year warranty. It took until 12-26-13 to have the panels installed.
A few weeks later I discovered that the company had substituted SunEdison panels, without notifying me and asking permission to change the contract. The panels I received are made in Malaysia and have a 25 year warranty. I have requested that the company remove the panels, fix my roof and cancel my contract with the finance company. They are unwilling to do so.
I received an e-mail from the finance company last week informing me that the dispute I had filed had been decided in my favor and I would no longer be charged. I asked my attorney to contact A/C Solar to come and get their panels. Today the finance company called to say that A/C Solar had filed a rebuttal at the last minute.
(Not sure how that can happen when I already received a decision). I do not wish to be forced to do business with a company that is not above-board and engages in unscrupulous business practices. They claim I received a better quality product, but have provided no proof. Even if I had, that would be completely irrelevant. I did not receive what I contracted for. Their lawyer claimed that I was aware that I had received "upgraded Sun Edison" equipment when I signed the contract with the utility company. This is a blatant lie.

Scam
These guys are a scam. They opened a finance account without my permission and charged it before doing any work.
